Babu Mohalla : Rawalpindi’s Historic Gem
Situated in Rawalpindi ( Pakistan ) , Babu mohala has been existing since the pre partition era in the subcontinent . Originally called " Shushi Bushan chaterji street " , when the Calcutta office clerks came to the area in the 1930’s it became what we know now today as babu mohala .
It is a historical landmark , generally unknown due to its unassuming and low key status as being preneted as a commercial and residential hub .
